Understanding Taxes and Changes from the CARES Act – Tech Talk with Devin Weber

This week we are joined by Devin Weber to discuss everyone’s favorite topic… TAXES! Taxes can be confusing and frustrating, especially if you’re an independent contractor, and a lot has changed with Covid-19 and the CARES Act. That’s why we invited Devin to help us demystify taxes and make the most of our hard earned money at this week’s Tech Talk.
Devin Weber is an enrolled agent with the IRS and an Oregon Licensed Tax Consultant. She has been doing taxes for 8 years with a focus on small business and self employed individuals. Her focus is educating her clients on how to minimize their tax liability properly within the IRS guidelines which can be confusing and difficult to decipher. In addition to doing taxes she is the CEO of Braille Skateboarding and has spoken at VidCon several years in a row about taxes for self employed YouTube creators.
