Tech Academy Grand Reopening Event: Community Career Development Party!

We’re hosting a huge career development event to welcome our community back to The Tech Academy Portland!
We will have stations set up with our Job Placement team to help review resumes, cover letters, and portfolio websites. They will provide tips and tricks to improve your GitHub repository and social media presence. You will, also, be able to get a professional-looking photo and participate in fun coding challenges!
Food and drinks will be provided for you to enjoy during our guest speakers, which include Co-Founder of The Tech Academy, Erik Gross!
We will end the evening with a raffle where you have the chance to win a year of our subscription service, a laptop, Tech Academy gear, and more! Everyone will receive a raffle ticket upon entry and has the opportunity to earn more raffle tickets by participating in the career development stations.
This event is FREE and open to the public!
We recommend bringing your own laptop for the coding challenges and stations, but we will also have some available if you cannot.
Join us at our Downtown Portland Location starting at 5pm on Thursday, August 19th to network and explore opportunities in tech!
